𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗝𝗢𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗖’s mission for the last decade has been to create a place for immersive digital worlds and thereby encouraging the cultural sector to extend into the digital sphere. Hereby, we invite 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮 to submit projects that combine 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 to be presented at the festival in 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭.
Celebrating its 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 this year, 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗝𝗢𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗖 is a platform for promoting new media art and a space where art and technology merge. We believe in 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and are always eager to welcome new artists in our growing community and become part of the vibrant CLUJOTRONIC program which brings together performances, interactive installations, VR and AR projects, workshops, debates, independent video games, and more!
This call aims to promote digital art projects that can be exhibited / presented at the 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗝𝗢𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗖 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 festival between 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭-𝟯, in the fields of:
· 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
· 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝘁
· 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The call is addressed to artists based in Romania who work in the following fields: 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮, 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. Candidates can apply individually or as a group / collective.
The selection of the artwork will be made by a 𝗷𝘂𝗿𝘆 consisting of: 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝘂̈𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗲𝗿 [𝗱𝗲] – Visual Artist, 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘂 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘅 [𝗳𝗿] – Motion Design and Interaction Artist, 𝗥𝗮̆𝘇𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂 [𝗿𝗼] – Creative Director at Amural Festival, 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘂 [𝗿𝗼] – Cultural Events Coordinator at the German Cultural Center Cluj-Napoca, 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗶𝘂 [𝗿𝗼] – Culture and Communication Manager at the French Institute in Cluj-Napoca
WHAT WE OFFER
The 𝟱 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 will 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 receive a 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗥𝗢𝗡.
The artworks will be presented during Clujotronic 2021 and will be promoted as part of the festival’s social media campaign.
