This month’s theme is one of Avi’s (Mangaldharma Avisek) favorite subject to talk about! ROOTS had us thinking about him all along, so it’s a sign!

Avisek started his spiritual education since childhood, going through a long path of learning and practicing under the guidance of great spiritual mentors from the tradition of Bihar School of Yoga/ Satyananda Yoga, India.
After becoming an Electronics and Communication Engineer, he decided to choose another professional path. Certified as a Yoga Teacher by the Sivananda Ashram, Kerala, India, Avi works to inspire people to realize their full potential and increase their wellbeing. Besides yoga, he also studied the Ayurveda and the Ayurvedic Massage, and also the Thai Foot Reflexology, being certified in this practices by the International Yoga Vedanta Center, India and the Thai Massage School of Chang Mai, Hong Kong.

Combining the knowledge and practice from all these Eastern disciplines, Avisek is currently conducting ‘Wellness Workshops’ for different multinational corporate organizations and for the past 15 years has been offering yoga classes for citizens of different nationalities during his stay in Hong Kong, Macau, Philippines, China, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Mauritius, India, Portugal & Romania.

His love for photography, cultures and people always surrounds him with a great energy. Come and discover it yourself on January 31st, at our next CreativeMornings Timisoara meeting!
