Your design can bring healthcare and social services to Romania’s villages!

Why we need you

Let’s help Walking Month stand out! This charity competition aims to bring social & medical services to Transylvanian villages by creating a mobile intervention unit – a Social Ambulance. We thought it would be great to involve creative minds into the mix and offer this initiative a larger spotlight. So put on your thinking caps, because we need you to come up with some kick-ass t-shirt designs that express the way you feel about walking (or running, or sports in general)!

The best designs will be selected and will go into production. T-Shirts will be made and sold with 100% of the revenue going to the cause of the social ambulance. Also, did we mention that the winners get Edge Design Talks 2020 conference tickets?

How does it work?

1. Create some kick-ass graphics (which go on a gray t-shirt) which also include some of the elements here
2. Send us a 3 color (max), A4, vector format to walkingmonth@edgedesigntalks.com, along with your name and instagram account or website
3. Do all this by Sunday, 29 Sept 2019, 23:59.

* The designers of the selected t-shirts will also get a free ticket to Edge Design Talks 2020.
** Selected designs will be announced on social media platforms latest on 1st October 2019.

The Cause

Through this competition, we are fundraising for a mobile support center that will improve access to basic social and medical services in rural areas. Beard Brothers and AHS will manage the Social Ambulance project, from a logistic point of view, while also ensuring their volunteers will be there for the people in need.

The Event

Walking Month is a charitable competition organized every fall, that encourages people to move by foot as much as possible in a month, to help people improve their health and well-being.
All of the competition costs are supported by the main organizers, Betfair Romania Development and Banca Transilvania, and 100% of the participation fees go to the cause supported by the event.
