One Night Gallery Love Nimurad – MINA.

Alex Nimurad is an illustrator, designer and art director graduated in architecture and arts. His works are a testament to his passion for mythology, classical art and contemporary design. His style seamlessly blends these diverse influences with minimalistic elements, resulting in a truly unique and dynamic visual language.
The exhibition is a collaborative result involving the multidisciplinary artists AstroWizard, Visceral and Noetic who translate Nimurad’s works into different technological mediums.
The edition will take place at MINA – Museum of Immersive New Art, the first immersive space in Romania and the largest museum of new media art in SE Europe, a One Night Gallery initiative.
The exhibition will feature 21 artworks, transposed in AR, VR, Immersive shows & video-mapping, interactive installations. The selected illustrations include Academic Quarter series, Tarot Cards, Moon, Heavenly Gods, Sirens, Animal Movement, Goddesses, Chimera and Hidden in Plain Sight.
With this special occasion will open for the public a second space within MINA, dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
What will we see
Immersive show – Three different projects that will be translated into 360 degree projections. The immersive AV show is made by Noetic studio and music producer Andrei Stefanovici.
Heavenly Gods – interactive installation
A heavenly interactive installation in the new media art exhibition space –
Augmented Reality Academic Quarterly Series
The exhibited works will be brought to life through augmented reality filters available on Instagram. The AR scenes are 3D animations, made by Dan Pecete and Andrei Păun aka AstroWizard.
Chimeras in Virtual Reality
Nimurad’s illustrations form an oversized 3D universe, recreated by Andrei Păun aka AstroWizard, where visitors can complete the work.
Mermaids and Animal Movement – Video-mapping hot spot @ MINA Louge
The two works will form an animated show by Visceral studio.
MINA Gift Shop
The physical works from the artist’s portfolio are to be exhibited in the MINA gift shop.
