On May 18th, we are opening Teatrul Odeon again and we are turning it into a big, interactive playground.

Who’s behind all this?

Pren, graphic designer and illustrator passionate about vivid colors, geometric shapes and lettering. His artworks have been featured in exhibitions around Europe, magazines such as It’s Nice That and GORGO and his client work includes Google, Levi’s, FABRICA or United Colors of Benetton. In 2018 he was awarded a Certificate of Typographic excellence from Type Directors Club New York.

At One Night Gallery #10, his shapes, patterns and colors will take over Odeon Theatre and transform it into an immersive realm, starting with the façade’s video mapping, advancing through Pren’s minimalist lines at the ground floor and leveling up downstairs, where you have to reshape Pren’s oversized installations, explore his patterns in virtual reality, discover new layers using augmented reality with dARe by Samsung app, available on Google Play and App Store or follow his paths in Globalworth District, where he interprets a street in his own vision, as a teaser for what will be next for June’s edition.

In the bonus level, Artificial Intelligence portals will teleport you into Pren’s imaginarium at any point of your choosing on the stylistic continuum, from familiar to abstract and back. His artworks will be used to generate Live Neural Art via an AI-driven algorithm driving the artistic style transfer. Neural Artistic Style Transfer is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technique which allows us to extract the visual style of an artwork and then to redraw, in that particular style, any other image. Even your own live recording, on Samsung screens.

And to make sure it was a good game, we’ll celebrate with cold drinks, yummy bites and Tomma Alistar’s beats, who will be joining us with a cool solo performance.

One Night Gallery #10 is proudly part of Noaptea muzeelor, Creative Quarter Design Festival and Bucharest Tech Week 2019.
