You Have Always Seen the Unseen

The project brings together four young voices of contemporary art, that started a collaboration with three fashion labels in an exploration of the typologies of the fashion image, the relationship that visual art has with this industry and, further, opening discussions on complex topics such as gender representation or how to reinvent the way these types of images are produced.

The fashion image, as a consecrated genre, becomes the impetus and the starting point of a wider journey, in which familiar and predictable formulas are left behind, to give rise to sometimes unexpected developments, both at the level of formal compositions and at the level of structuring of the subject.

The result of this project will be an exhibition open to the public between ♠ September 11 – October 20 ♠ at MNAC Bucharest.
